This Is The End of My Journey
This is going to be a short post but I felt the need to inform you all of this unfortunate update.
Last week on a cold snowy night I returned back to Medicine Hat, Alberta. I met my brother and Mom at the tiny Medicine Hat Regional Airport as I returned back from an amazing year and a half journey with Mercy Ships. Nearly two weeks ago I unfortunately decided to leave my mission early and part ways with the organization. After fighting to stay and continue the work of equipping the world's largest civilian hospital ship for her first field service this up coming February, the decision was made and I spent the weekend packing up my life. I made the long journey home and am hopeful that God will light the way forward. I have no idea what he has in store for me next, but I know that, whatever it is, it'll be good for me. I thank you all for the support over the last year and a half and feel incredibly thankful to have such an amazing village surrounding me in love and support.
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." ~ Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
I ask that going forward you all continue to support me in prayer and good vibes. I will need all the support possible as I begin the next steps in my career. Please don't ask for specifics as I do not want to share. Please know that I am trusting that God knows the plan and that it's good.
Thank you again for the support. This is the end of my time with Mercy Ships but I will continue to spread the love of Christ wherever I go.
